Live more! Have you ever been looking for the shortest checkout line in a store? Have you seen couples stand in the different check out lines to see which ones move the fastest? Why do we do this? How much time does it save and how much stress does it produce? How much quality does it add to our lives? Why not get in the long line?

Why Life’s Long Lines May Be Best?

Since I have embarked on a life of simple living and minimalism I have been asking that question. What is wrong with the long line when looking to check out after shopping? I now look for the most pleasant and most competent check out person. I look to have the most enjoyable experience rather than the quickest.

This person is usually the most knowledgeable check out person. They usually know more about the products and give you greater insight. They are usually able to answer questions more accurately. Also usually able to give you inside information and tips on upcoming sales. They are usually worth the wait and this may be the reason why their line is noticeably longer. Take the time to live more.

I am looking to enjoy my time ending my shopping experience, to embrace the simple experience, not to complicate it by adding stress NHL body checking, pushing and jockeying for position to get into a somewhat shorter line. Why do that? What do you win? Why endure that extra stress? I will tell you what you will win, NOTHING!

You will usually be in line with some of the most annoying miserable stressed out people on the planet. If not on the planet at the least, the most miserable and stressed out in the store. You will usually be there with some of the most classic negative energy.

The person or group of passive aggressive people, making obnoxious remarks and then looking to you co-sign and add to their remarks. Or the other classic person with their arms folded and some of the most negative body languages make all kinds of intermittent exhales and grunts of disapproval of the overall progress. Live more with less stress.

Or the other classic person with their arms folded and some of the most negative body languages make all kinds of intermittent exhales and grunts of disapproval of the overall progress. Live more with less stress.

If you are lucky that person may even toss his or her hands high in the air, spin around for one or more revolutions while voicing a complaint to your amusement. I actually enjoy that display but I can also enjoy viewing it from a less stressful somewhat longer line. Choose the less stressful longer line in life. This line usually has more pleasant people that you will enjoy more.

Long Lines, Long Life, Live More

In the fury of maximizing the day and getting the most done, is it really serving you well? After rushing to get here and there, reading and answering emails and rushing to get through the day, are we missing out on the important joys of life?

How many emails will you need to read or how many errands will you need to run to begin to stop and enjoy your time on this planet and live more? Will you stop and begin when you finish a current project or get your next promotion at work? Will you stop and begin after you finish school or get an advanced degree?

You stop and begin to enjoy life, friends, and family when you make your first million dollars? Will you ever stop, slow down and enjoy the simple wonderful pleasures of life at all and live more? Will you ever create those unforgettable memories in your mind and in the mind of the ones you truly love?

Is it possible you will begin to enjoy life, friends, and family when you make your first million dollars? Will you ever stop, slow down and enjoy the simple wonderful pleasures of life at all and live more? Will you ever create those unforgettable memories in your mind and in the mind of the ones you truly love?

You can start today if you have been putting it off. Get into the long lines in life. Slow down and enjoy every second of your existence in the long line and live more. Live purposefully and don’t just let life happen to you. Enjoy every second of the good times and most of the bad times because they both are temporary.

Always live purposefully and take time out to do the things you love and spend time with family and friends. Don’t speed through life completing the burdening task, looking for the short lines to ensure that you arrive at your next useless task in record time.

Those emails, business lunch, project, and that job will always be there tomorrow. You may not need that promotion or that million dollars in record time if it prevents you from getting the time you need to enjoy the things and the people you love.

Live simple with fewer possessions and burdening responsibilities to make it easier to seek the long lines in life. Enjoy every single moment with less stress and no clutter, physically and mentally. Once you seek the long lines the chronic tension in your shoulders may release and your shoulders may begin to drop and relax.

You may begin to look around and notice familiar sensations in your body as if you just woke up from a very long bad dream. Your breathing may begin to slow down, along with your heart rate. This may be the beginning of something good as you willingly exist in the long line of life with family and friends, with the extra time to do the things you love with the people you love. Not at a future date and time but right now. LIVE MORE.
