    You seem to be falling into the trap of equating the consumption of more plants in the diet to the expansion of agriculture land. This is wrong, at the moment most land is used to produce crops that are used to produce meat. The reduction of meat in our diets would have the opposite effect because that land wouldn’t be needed for that and could be returned to nature.
